A 4 1/2 foot diameter Pecan tree became a risk in the playground of Trinity Episcopal Church, Florence, Alabama.

April 2009 - Tree taken down

May 2009 - Tree cut into slabs using Lucas Sawmill

Today - Wood slabs are air drying

2011 - Wood slabs will be moved to the kiln for a final cure

2011 - The Playground Pecan will become handmade furniture under the deft hands of wood artist Robin Wade
