Can a furniture maker build a piece of green furniture? Yes. Can a furniture maker build a hundred pieces of green furniture. That get's a bit more difficult. Unless I saw the tree standing, I can't say for sure where it came from. These days, the world seems to want black and white, simple answers to their questions. Is it green is a great question that should be being asked. But the answer quite a bit more difficult. The truth of the matter, is that I don't see every tree, and know the history of every single tree or log that makes it's way into my studio, I can't say that all my furniture is green.. I purchase most of my trees and logs from people I know and trust, but do I KNOW? No. In an effort to make up for any non-green logs and trees that might slip by, we have several campaigns in place.
