the first

This table has been over two years in the making.  We sawed the logs into natural edge lumber a couple of years ago.  Immediately removed the bark with a draw knife, and it's been air drying since.  Just a couple of weeks ago we removed our thickest lumber yet from the kiln.  And, this is the first table to come from this 4" thick stock.  Note;  after we have planed it back flat the resulting thickness is probably 3.25" to 3.5".
